placing the ball joint in a bind. I have seen many of them adjusted by alignment shops incorrectly. I strongly suggest checking the rotation of the ball joint after the car is aligned. If the ball joint is in a bind it can destroy the ball joint going over the first speed bump. The dust boots on the tension rods are a poor rubber and do fall apart fairly quickly. Most other companies do not include boots at all on the tension rods. I have talked to Powertrix about the boots and they are looking into a better rubber for them. Powertrix has been very good about standing behind their products and even when the tension rods have been stressed to failure from the wrong orientation on the joint they have given new ones out to replace the bad units.
